Christmas Lights switch on!

I am thrilled to be able to announce that I shall be switching on the spectacular Christmas lights in Westgate-on-Sea on Sunday 2nd December!  The day starts at 11am and finishes at 5pm and there’s a whole load of Christmassy craziness going on in between.

Please come along and join in the festive fun!  You can have a dance, listen to the bands, buy some tasty local produce and visit the 50 market stalls that will line the streets of Westgate-on-Sea for last minute present ideas.

Not to mention of course I’d love you to come and say a big hello to me as well.  Who knows…I may even be able to tell you our chances of a white christmas!

Who will be there?

Academy Fm will be reporting live from the event all day.

A large Market with up to 50 stalls

A Fun fair

Father Christmas in his grotto from 12 noon.

Carol Singers 1 – 130pm  

Silver Band

Dancers

Zumba Dancers

Majorettes

Live local Bands will perform throughout the day:

MC Spokasonic will perform a track he has just released – Time to be announced

 

AND the Christmas lights switch on at 430pm – I look forward to hearing some huge Christmas cheers!

I am thrilled to have been invited to join Victim Support’s huge fundraiser, with Sue Perkins conducting stunning pieces of music and world famous opera singers all performing at London’s Barbican Hall on 22nd November 2012.

Famous for her wit and charm, Sue is also known for winning the BBC’s Maestro of the Year and being a regular on Great British Bake Off.
