Christmas weather forecast

Want to have a handy guide to what the weather’s going to chuck at us over the next few days?  Well here’s a brief break down of each day – first things first – NO SNOW – and not especially cold either. No frosts are expects and it’s generally too windy for any fog/mist either. (apart from hill fog when the cloud gets so low it covers the tops of the downs)

A house in Tunbridge Wells embracing the Christmas vibe! Raising money for the Air Ambulance too.

Rest of tonight = Staying cloudy with further spells of rain, though a bit more patchy than earlier, with some drier slots too.

Friday = Dry, sunny spells, lighter winds

Saturday = Ferociously wet – worse than today. Windy too.

Sunday = Breezy (Westerly) but dry with some sunny spells for the start of the day.  However rain likely to return by the end of the day and overnight.

Monday CHRISTMAS EVE = Breezy (Southwesterly) but dry with some sunny spells.

Tuesday CHRISTMAS DAY = Lighter winds, and dry with sunny spells.

Oh dear. I like the sound of Christmas Day. We’ve had too many dull wet grey Christmases in recent years.

But I don’t like the sound of Saturday, and I’ve agreed to work ’til midnight, well beyond the last bus!!
